Recent News

  • Eidos has returned after a four year hiatus. We look forward to bringing out a new issue in 2010 (vol. 20). Also, past issues will be available online sometime in the near future.

  • The last issue was Vol XIX, no.1: Ardeth Wood Memorial Issue (2004).

  • "A sense of Eidos" - Prof. Joe Novak's essay on the meaning of Eidos, is now available online.

 

Eidos is published by graduate students at the University of Waterloo. Since its inception 30 years ago, Eidos has been devoted to providing a forum for academic discussion on philosophical themes from graduate students in Canada and abroad. Eidos is listed in the Philosopher's Index and has a subscription base of individuals and institutions from Europe, Asia, South America and across North America.
